Short Biography:
STEPHEN H. PLITT is an award-winning filmmaker based in Vancouver. He wrote and directed TESTIMONY: THE FANNY CROSBY STORY, which aired on North American network TV and won two awards at the 2003 NRB, as well as four awards at ICVM.
THE LIFE CYCLE OF THE COAT HANGER, a short film Steve wrote, directed and edited, debuted on the Comedy Network. Another of the short films he wrote, directed and edited, AFTERLIFE TAXI, was a finalist in the 2002 ReelFast 48 hour Film Festival.
Steve recently wrote, directed and edited the short film THE TICKET and is currently in development on several of his own short and feature film projects.
On the music front, Steve directed and edited recording artist Bocephus King's latest music video JESUS THE BOOKIE, and composes music for film and video. Steve also composed two of the three music tracks for Super-Anon.
Steve is a graduate of the Vancouver Film School. |
