Short Biography:
Yohei was born in Japan and moved to the United States at the age of 22. His movies have been selected by more than 70 film festivals in the United States, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, and Europe. He has received several awards and honorable mentions, including Best Picture. He is interested in not only writing and directing, but acting – he usually casts himself as the lead. His Japanese background makes his movies unique.

Having received his master’s degree in film from the University of Utah, he is living in New York and pursuing his career as an actor and filmmaker.
