Free Jolito is an "acid" comedy that underlines and criticizes cultural problems that arise from the Mexico-USA immigrant subject.
Jolito is an undeniable Mexican young man, so much so that his body manifests as a giant bean.
After a very colorful Mexican farewell party, Jolito receives a Mexican medallion, handmade by his nephew Dorito, not only to wish him good luck but as a constant reminder of his heritage and culture.
Jolito leaves his natal town in Chihuahua, Mexico to explore better opportunities in the U.S.A.
After being robbed and beaten by illegal smugglers, Jolito has to figure out how to cross the border on his own.
After several attempts which involve "border pole vaulting" and "Bravo River snorkeling", he arrives to a small town in Texas.
FJ starts from the bottom: Washing dishes in small American diner in Fabens, TX where he begins his journey to the American dream.
A casual Texan wedding, a Green Card, a trip to Disneyland, a brand new Hummer, and a patriotic 4th of July celebration, might be indicatives that Jolito has totally forgotten his roots.
Jolito Castillo suffers an identity crisis when being exposed to the endless temptations of the American dream.
He decides to take a path, one of hatred. A "racist extravaganza" you might call it. He starts denying his heritage and his raze.
What can happen if Jolito becomes agent FJ CASTILLO, the best Border Patrol agent in the whole force?
