RECESS tells the story of the understood politics of the recess playground. When a new student arrives on the recess playground for the first time, he realizes it is nearly impossible to blend in straight away. It takes a little time...and a little imagination.
Ok, so he's too small for sports. Sure he can't fold origami or roll dice, but somewhere deep inside of him is a gift. The gift of friendship.
Putting all of his energy into making new friends, our hero musters the strength to call upon his social tactics and creativity to make his fellow classmates notice him. Doing whatever it takes, he wins them over, one by one, with class and charm. In the end he realizes that all it takes is some charm, and a little imagination.
